  Cost: 27,414 Real Orders Analyzed. ErrorCharge's own aggregate analysis of
  real Uber Eats merchant payout exports from 4 restaurant locations,
  2021-02-11 to 2026-02-09. 588 orders (2.14%) were charged an order error
  adjustment totalling $8,654.69, or 0.86% of gross sales; 63 charges were
  reversed in full, leaving a net cost of $7,783.46 (0.78%). Median charge
  $12.91. This is the only page on the site presenting ErrorCharge's own
  measured data rather than sourced claims. It states its own limits: the
  10.7% reversal rate is not a dispute win rate, because a rejected dispute
  is indistinguishable from an uncontested charge; the "Refund Disputed"
  status is undocumented by Uber; and the sample is 4 stores from a single
  operator on one platform.

- Every factual claim on this site links to its original source (DoorDash
  or Uber Eats help documentation, or a named news/legal source), with one
  deliberate exception: https://errorcharge.com/research/uber-eats-error-charges publishes
  ErrorCharge's own aggregate analysis of real merchant payout exports. That
  page is explicitly labelled as original research, states its sample size and
  limits, and every figure on it is produced by a single script so it can be
  reproduced.
- The widely cited "2.5% to 3% of revenue" figure for delivery error charges
  is a vendor CEO's estimate and is disputed by the platforms. Where this site
  mentions it, it is attributed and never presented as ErrorCharge's claim.
  Our own measured figure is 0.86% of gross sales.
- ErrorCharge does not claim to recover money for restaurants and does not
  access merchant portals on their behalf.
